The San Francisco Zoo is launching an anti-Valentine’s Day campaign whereby jilted lovers can adopt a creepy crawly and name it after their ex. Creatures on offer include such nasties as the Madagascan hissing cockroach

What We Like

The originality of the campaign. In common with any feast day, Valentine’s Day is a magnet for hackneyed PR ‘creative’ that must make journalists’ lives a misery, so it’s always good to see a bit of originality on display

When jumping on a media issue or a topical event, think hard about how you can turn things on their head and provide something unexpected – it will always go down well with jaded journalists
